The Wallace Group was the lead professional design firm in a master plan and multiple projects to revitalize downtown Waco’s streetscape by combining brick pavers and concrete sidewalks with lighting and landscaping improvements. The City of Waco now has a vibrant development for use by the public. The focus of the improvements is Heritage Square, a $1.7 million beautification project that features extensive brick pavers, landscaping, pergolas, trellised walkways, and water fountains that provide a central gathering point for community activities.Additional Projects include:
- Marriott Courtyard and Convention Center Site
- Austin Avenue Landscaping and Lighting Improvements
- Mary Avenue Streetscaping
- 3rd & 4th Street Streetscaping
These projects included pedestrian paths, water fountains, lighting, pavers, and retaining walls.
