Work Order 16149 A wooded stretch of Kendrick Lane has been transformed into a "Norman Rockwell neighborhood" filled with brick homes that most families can afford. Ventana, formed in February 2003, has launched subdivisions in San Antonio and Eagle Pass, Texas. Its move to Waco will help the city create affordable housing. The chairman of Ventana is Henry Cisneros, former San Antonio Mayor and Federal Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.
The Wallace Group provided civil and survey design for the 57-home subdivision. The subdivision included curb and gutter streets, sidewalks, a park, and wooded lots. Located in the heart of Waco, the new subdivision is unique and provides badly needed affordable housing. |
