| City of Killeen's Lift Station No. 2 - Ready for Service Construction is complete on the City of Killeen’s Lift Station No. 2. The design of the 7,000 GPM Wastewater Lift Station coincided with the design of a 24-inch force main. The Lift Station includes four submersible VFD pumps with a planned expansion to five pumps. The VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) Lift Station uses computer controls and powerful software, not control valves, to precisely adjust pump speeds and output.
