FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH FAMILY LIFE CENTER
WACO, TEXAS

Scope of Work:  This Family Life Center for the First United Methodist Church was designed to blend with the Architecture of the existing campus. It has a composition shingle roof and masonry exterior. The interior encompasses a multi-use assembly space designed to accommodate banquets, worship, and youth sports activities. The interior walls are constructed with acoustical masonry. Storage, restrooms with showers and a warming kitchen are included.
OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE CATHOLIC CHURCH
TAYLOR, TEXAS

Scope of Work: This interior face-lift of the existing Catholic sanctuary provides a more inspirational worship space by replacing old dark wood panels with gypsum board walls which contain a stained wood slat design. Sloping and curved walls were placed to screen doors behind the altar. The existing restored crucifix was suspended in front of a backlit recess representing the circle of life.
ST. MARK CATHOLIC CHURCH
DENTON, TEXAS

Cost:  (DESIGN PHASE)
Scope of Work:  New campus for St. Mark Catholic church to include a Parish Activities Center and a Religious Education building. The Parish Activities Center is a multi-use space capable of seating 600 for worship or 400 for banquet with a full support kitchen. The building also has a 75 person day chapel accessible from the main lobby, cry room, and administrative offices.
SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH
WACO, TEXAS

Cost:  $1M
Scope of Work:  A new 600 seat worship space. Concrete masonry units were used to delineate a traditional arched colonnade entry and building fenestration. This building was awarded the Golden Trowel Award for Outstanding Block Design by the United Masonry Contractors Association. The Sanctuary was designed by George Jezek, AIA while a principal with another firm. George designed the Bell Tower while employed at The Wallace Group.
ST. WILLIAM CATHOLIC CHURCH
ROUND ROCK, TEXAS

Scope of Work:  This project included the architectural design of a new 1,500 seat Sanctuary Building expandable to 2,500 seats. The Church desired a traditional Catholic design with a southwest mission influence using native materials. Additional campus facilities have included a Gathering Hall and Administration Facility, an Education Facility, a Chapel, and a Pavilion. TWG prepared and permitted site construction documents for Phase One on this 30-acre campus, as well as a Pavilion Addition. An interesting feature is a large retention pond with wetland vegetation.
ST. WILLIAM CATHOLIC CHURCH - Chapel

Scope of Work:  TWG designed a replica of the original 1950 structure based upon old photographs of the building including the free-standing bell tower.
ST. WILLIAM CATHOLIC CHURCH - Administration & Gathering Hall / Education

Scope of Work:  Phase II of the project included the architectural design of an 18,000 sf administration office with a 500 person gathering hall and a 16,000 sf religious education building. These buildings blend with the campus by using native materials and traditional forms with a southwest mission influence.

FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OF WOODWAY CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
WOODWAY, TEXAS

Scope of Work:  A three story addition, conventionally constructed, with masonry veneer exterior providing educational, office space, children's church, and indoor recreation areas. The third floor is shell space for future ministry expansion.
ST. STEPHEN CATHOLIC CHURCH
SALADO, TEXAS

Size:  17,487 SF
Cost:  $2.5M (Design Stage)
Scope of Work:  This multipurpose facility is designed to meet the needs for phase I of a new campus. A large multipurpose space with vaulted ceilings accommodates up to 500 people for worship or the room may be arranged for banquet style seating with a removable stage. The educational space contains 10 classrooms which have removable partitions to allow for greater flexibility in class size. The public restrooms are located in the public corridor adjacent to the office to allow dual usage between education and worship space. The serving kitchen is located behind a permanent wall to enhance the aesthetics of the worship space while still providing flexibility.
